March Fast Track Review

Friends and fellow Speakers, what an excellent session we just experienced with our guest speaker Mark Partridge, sharing so much information to help us build a stronger and healthier business through his program “Guiding Rights; Intellectual Property is Your Greatest Asset”. I will say this over and over; the power of WPSA and our Fast Track Program is indeed in full force. As I listened and watch our Fast Track participants during our FT program with Mark, I realized that we are all hungry for information and ideas; it’s truly the driving force for our business development. And that is the purpose of our Fast Track Program.

Mark covered so much information with us for the three hours on copyright and trademark rights during the three hours. Being that most Fast Track sessions are small groups, it allowed for many questions and answers which Mark answered very specifically. Not only did we learn and gain so much from Mark, but also the interaction with a group of our size was the exchange of ideas, what worked, what maybe didn’t work, that we gained from each other as well as from our guest speaker.

Folks I don’t care what status you are in with respects to WPSA or NSA, (Candidate or Professional) or even where you are in your business and or growth of your business, I can guarantee you this, there is no better place and time that you can gain so much information to help you build and grow both personally and professionally than at Fast Track.

How about a quick recap for those that were not able to attend and for those of you that were lucky to be present for our March Fast Track, this can be a good reminder. I wrote down many notes, and what I took back that was easy to understand, was the 6 Buckets that Mark spoke of, easy to remember also. Mark identified the “6 kinds of rights” or the “6 Buckets” and here you go; Trade Secrets, Trademarks, Copyright, Patents, Domain Names and Right of Publicity. We really focused most for the time with Q&A around Copyright and Trademarks, which seemed to be the most important to the group and our business as Professional Speakers and Trainers. This program was powerful and helpful to all of us, our concerns as well as fears that we have surrounding our programs and content.

All I can say about this past fast Track and Professional Development Session on Friday is “WOW”! Mark if you’re reading this, thank you again for all that you shared. Also a special thanks to all that showed up for both programs, considering the weather that we’ve been experiencing.

Until we come together again, good selling to you all, and give your next speech or program your very best. Don’t’ hesitate, protect your Intellectual Property it is your greatest asset!
