NSA-WI Speaker Business Development Academy and Accelerator Have you ever seen a professional speaker on stage and thought to yourself, “I wish I could do that!”? Are you a trainer and are you thinking of starting your own business? Do you already speak in front of audiences for free, and want to know how to get paid? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then Speakers Academy is the place for you! The NSA-WI Speakers Business Development Accelerator and Academy are designed specifically for aspiring speakers who are serious about pursuing, or accelerating, their career in professional speaking. Program participants learn from industry experts how to build a speaking business from the ground up. Our Academy aligns with the National Speakers Association’s Model of Service:

Intensive Session with Live Platform Coaching: Each curriculum year ends with one session solely devoted to platform skills. Graduating members receive expert feedback from professional speakers that help them grow and improve their platform skills and content delivery. Support, Mentoring, and Masterminds: Connect with professional mentors and create peer-masterminds outside of scheduled programs. Get answers to questions and receive guidance through the journey of creating a successful speaking business. Graduation: Participants who complete Academy requirements will be celebrated at the NSA-WI Annual Gala. One of the most valuable services offered by NSA-WI is the “Speakers Development Lab.” All members from Past National Presidents and CPAE’s to new candidate members are welcome to attend. The Lab operates much like a Hollywood “Actors Studio” where speakers, facilitators, seminar leaders, those who sell products or services through public presentations, etc. can go to try out new material, revise current material, practice delivery techniques, etc.
