The power of negotiation is all about communicating persuasively.

Expert communicator Fotini Iconomopoulos has been working with business leaders to  share principles of persuasion and negotiation and show them how to become the kind of leader people want to follow.

In our December chapter meeting, Fotini will be share how these same principles and strategies can be used as professional speakers to secure more speaking engagements and negotiate higher fees.

Fotini will also share her negotiation war stories and how she overcame gender and age discrimination to go on to be the expert that Fortune 500 executives seek out for their high-stakes scenarios. Like all our chapter programs, the morning session will be positioned for the emerging speaker, while the afternoon will be oriented to the experienced speaking professional.

For over a decade, after working in over 170 industries, Fotini Iconomopoulos has been the person that companies like Ford, Microsoft, MIT, Nestle, Purina, Rolls Royce and Walmart call to help them through their high stakes negotiations or upgrade their negotiation, communication and persuasion skills. HarperCollins noticed her frequent media appearances in outlets including Forbes, CBC and Harvard Business Review, and asked to write her first, now best-selling, book, Say Less, Get More: Unconventional Negotiation Techniques to Get What You Want.

In addition to teaching MBA Negotiations in Toronto, Fotini offers her experience to non-profit initiatives. Amongst her accomplishments, she’s been recognized with numerous awards including the RBC Women Entrepreneur awards and a Top 40 under 40 award.
